<p>North-East Programme Coordinator of <a href="http://www.concisenews.global/tag/malaria">Malaria</a> Consortium, Abubakar Ndaliman, has urged people to have attitudinal change in the fight against Malaria in Nigeria.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.concisenews.global">Concise News</a> understands that Ndaliman made the call at stakeholders’ meeting organised by Civil Society for Malaria Control, Immunization and Nutrition on Thursday in Gombe.</p>
<p>According to him, there was need for health workers to always document what they did.</p>
<p>The programme coordinator stressed the need for health workers to imbibe the attitude of ensuring proper documentation of their operations toward addressing the problem of malaria.</p>
<p>“If they document correctly with the little we started, we are ready to give more,” he said.</p>
<p>He said as part of efforts in fight against Malaria, 27 doctors and senior nurses had been trained to train other health workers on how to manage malaria among other things in Gombe state.</p>
<p>Chairman of the Society Hassana Maisanda said the National Network of Civil Society Organisations was working on the prevention, treatment and mitigation of the impact of malaria.</p>
<p>She said the objectives of the project was to conduct strategic activities to hold all relevant stakeholders accountable for service provision and results.</p>
<p>Maisanda said the Society had visited five LGAs of in the state, to inform councils on its mission to ensure accountability of all funds and resources donated by global fund in their respective facilities.</p>
